Governance

The Australian Centre for Indigenous History is an integral part of the History Program in the Research School of Social Sciences (RSSS). We draw our funding from RSSS, the History Program and the Vice Chancellor.

Professor Ann McGrath is the Director and Ms Frances Peters-Little the Deputy Director. We have an Advisory Committee comprising leading Indigenous representatives from around Australia, who meet once or twice annually. The Director of ACIH also sits on various Boards, including the National Centre for Indigenous Studies and the National Institute for Humanities and Creative Arts.

You can download a copy of our 2004 Annual Report for further information regarding the operation of ACIH.
